BENEATH THE OCEAN'S CRY by Pareshi Midha

Beneath the azure waves so deep,

A world of wonder, secrets keep,

But heed this cautionary tale I tell,

Of how we humans have cast a spell.

With careless actions, we take no heed,

Polluting waters with our every deed,

Oil spills stain the ocean's floor,

Leaving devastation at its core.

Marine creatures, majestic and grand,

Caught in nets, their lives unmanned,

Their fragile existence now at stake,

It's time for us to make a wake.

Mother Nature, she holds the key,

To balance and restore harmony,

But if we ignore her cries for aid,

Her wrath will surely be conveyed.

Let's protect the ocean, our sacred source,

Preserve its beauty, without remorse,

For in our hands lies the power to mend,

And ensure this tale does not meet its end.
