Volume 3 of Ark Review is, among many things, chilling. Reading these pieces has been an act of reflection in it & of itself—like looking into the ocean and finding your reflection. These pieces are powerful, scathing, empowering, hopeful, red-hot. In Volume 3, clouds "grumble" and the very earth "opens her mouth to swallow." The pieces invite you to view you what you already know but in a new, profound way. In this volume, we peer over the edge of the ark, into the water below, and see ourselves.

The third issue of Ark Review consists of poetry and prose, promoting awareness of the environment. It demonstrates an appreciation for our Earth and how important it is to combat these environmental injustices. For example, take "The Land of The Wind." With all the forest fires in California right now, it highlights such serious issues including the danger of droughts, high winds, and little rain. All pieces in this issue connect to real life and show why we need to fight, take action, and take care of our Earth. It leaves the reader thinking of how we can save our planet now.

The third volume of Ark Review is here, hitting us with feelings of despair and loss, but also joy, relief, and wonder. Most importantly, a feeling of belief in our shared planet. My favorite parts are the little experiences these writers share: a nighttime moment, the amazing beach, and fascinating animals. This love for our world and the passion behind every one of these pieces call action to care for this wonderful world.
